No. 1 and No. 2 Oakwood Cottages are semi-detached holiday cottages; each offering comfortable and spacious holiday accommodation and available to book individually or as a pair.
With their rural location and ease of access from the A1, Oakwood Cottages are ideally located to explore the historic county of Northumberland and its beautiful coastlines. All the interiors have been carefully selected and designed to offer you a relaxing ‘home from home’ stay.
Ground Floor. Hallway leading to downstairs cloakroom/utility with WC. Double aspect lounge with patio doors onto terrace, wood burning stove in the lounge, perfect for that cosy night in, and 32” TV with Freeview. The well equipped kitchen is also accessed from the hallway. With a mix of traditional and contemporary, the kitchen offers spacious, hand-crafted, shaker style cabinets and dining area. There is an adjoining sunny garden room providing additional space. Outside is a private, spacious, child-friendly cottage garden, complete with landscaped area and patio furniture for alfresco dining.
First Floor. Accessed from the landing are 3 bedrooms consisting of 1 single, 1 double and a master en-suite with super king size bed (this can be converted into twin beds). A travel cot is available upon request. Each of the bedrooms have views across rural/farming countryside including vistas as far as the Cheviot Hills.
Each cottage has a family bathroom with over the bath shower, shaver point, heated towel rail and all towels provided.
In addition, there is generous private parking, a complimentary welcome hamper upon arrival, towels, bed linen (at no extra cost), some cleaning products and an initial supply of logs (free) for the wood burning stove.
